The memoral stone and the tomb of the president of East Turkistan turk islamic republic Hgojaniyaz Haji in Urumchi. He was the president from 1933-1934. He was turn down by the Sovjet Union after a breaf ocupation. During this period more than 50 000 civilians was killed by the Sovjet Red Army. During the the Chinese cultural revolution (1966-1976) the tomb was partialy destroyed. The chinese goverment have turn down any proposition to restore the tomb.

The Swedish Uygur Committe

The Swedish Uygur Committe is a foremost cultural and historical organisation whose main goal is to promote, research and preserve Uygur history, culture and art. A part of the organisation is politicaly envolved in an non violence strugle for freedom of East Turkistan under the baner "no peace without justice". We distance ourself and strongly condemn any acts of violance. Peace which is not achived by peacfull and democratic method is not a real peace.
